Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said on Sunday that the Karni crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip was to remain closed following the continuing alerts of impending attacks.
He added that it was the Palestinians who were responsible for the deterioration in the Gaza Strip, since they were preventing Israel from supplying them with humanitarian aid through other crossings.
