Mofaz heads to Washington for talks on Iranian threat, Lebanon, Hizbullah

Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, the head of the Israeli team for strategic dialogue with the US, left Israel for Washington early Wednesday morning. The central issues in talks that Mofaz will take part in whilst in the US will be the Iranian threat, the situation in Lebanon, and Hizbullah, Army Radio reported. The Kadima minister told Israel Radio that no US president would allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons; as such a move would be "a threat to the entire world."
