Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Saturday night that were negotiations for the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit to take place, Israel would only get him back once it released the many Palestinian prisoners that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert promised, Israel Radio reported Sunday. Mubarak, speaking at the end of a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Sharm e-Sheikh, said that the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians were connected to the prisoner swap talks, which involved freeing the Hamas parliament members from Israeli jails.
