Mubarak phones Sharon; wishes luck 'on new path'

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak phoned Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Tuesday afternoon Tuesday afternoon to express his support for the Prime Minister and wish him success in the new path that he has chosen. Mubarak added that he was interested in continuing to work closely with Sharon in order to achieve a better future, and advance peace, in the region. Sharon thanked Mubarak saying, "I am certain that we will continue to work together as we have done in the past."
