Local authority employees across the country were set to strike on Thursday between 10am and midday in protest of the wave of violent acts committed against mayors.
Employees staged a demonstration in Kadima Tzuram where a grenade was hurled at the home of Mayor Yizhak Mulberry at the beginning of March.
In total there have been 90 violent attacks this year against municipality employees.
