Municipality workers strike to protest violence

Local authority employees across the country were set to strike on Thursday between 10am and midday in protest of the wave of violent acts committed against mayors. Employees staged a demonstration in Kadima Tzuram where a grenade was hurled at the home of Mayor Yizhak Mulberry at the beginning of March. In total there have been 90 violent attacks this year against municipality employees.
