The Nahal Granit battalion that deserted their Golan Heights base on Thursday morning, returned to it later in the day, following a conversation with the battalion commander.
The IDF said that following an investigation of the event, all the soldiers would be disciplined.
The soldiers apparently deserted the base because of a decision to change the structure of their platoon.
