Nat'l Union-NRP: Marzel's party a 'waste of votes'

National Union-NRP officials sought Sunday to keep Baruch Marzel's Jewish National Front party out of the Knesset elections in order "not to waste votes," Army Radio reported. Polls show Marzel's party winning some 30,000 votes, which would give him one mandate. Marzel responded by saying that the National Union-NRP was "panicking" because internal polls gave his party two mandates, and called on them not to be drawn into attacks.
