An alleged thief whose partner in crime was shot dead by the man believed to be their intended victim was indicted Thursday on charges of cattle rustling, possession of a burglary tool, and poisoning the intended victim's dog. Ayoub al-Hawashleh was treated for gunshot wounds at Soroka Medical Center last week after he was shot by Shai Dromi, and was later questioned and arrested. Dromi also allegedly shot and killed Khaled al-Atrash, al-Hawashleh's partner, and was charged with manslaughter shortly after the incident.
