A 30-year-old Negev resident was arrested Sunday after five and half kilograms of heroin worth millions of shekels were found in his car.
When questioned, the suspect claimed that he had borrowed the car from a stranger. The police, however, reported that the suspect has a record of drug-related offenses.
A court is expected to extend his remand.
