Ehud Olmert told the Kadima faction in the Knesset on Monday that he had instructed security officials to deal harshly with the Israeli rioters in Hebron.
"The people that attacked soldiers are a violent gang," he said. "We will not accept a situation in which our people raise their hands against the security forces and in which the extremists are not under control. There will be no compromise - it is not a game. The government has its red lines that cannot be crossed."
