Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Tuesday that after Hamas took over the Palestinian Legislative Council, the chances of reaching a peace agreement have decreased, but all hope was not lost.
In an interview slated to be released on Channel 1 Tuesday evening, Olmert committed to fighting with determination against Hamas and against terrorism. At the same time, he said, he would work to maintain the hope of reaching a peace agreement with the Palestinians, Israel Radio reported.
