Olmert: Israel will stand up to Islamic extremists

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said during a speech at a special Knesset session Monday afternoon that the fight against extremist Islamic fundamentalism would likely go on for a long time, and will require "patience, decisiveness and nerves of steel." Olmert added that a nation that returns to its land after 2000 years has what it takes to survive.
