Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz were scheduled to meet with US envoy David Welch on Sunday morning to discuss US policy toward Hamas. The meeting will focus in particular on American statements over the weekend indicating that the US would continue the flow of aid to a Hamas-run PA. On Saturday, Welch met in Ramallah with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat.
