Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Tuesday that the prisoner swap deal conducted with Hizbullah on Monday night was "reasonable and logical."
Speaking at an Ashdod conference on aliya and absorption, Olmert declared that no day passed without the subject of the kidnapped IDF soldiers on the agenda.
"Our enemies have tried for years to raise the price Israel pays for a snippet of information and the prices we pay for kidnapped soldiers and sometimes bodies," he said. "[They] exploit our emotions, and sometimes succeed in this."
