Olmert: Our enemies in the North aren't rushing to fight us

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Wednesday that due to the Second Lebanon War, the northern border is experiencing quiet and security it hasn't had in years. "Hizbullah has reinforced its weaponry but it is not deployed on the northern border," Olmert told the Herzliya Conference adding, "Our enemies aren't rushing to fight us, and they know why." The prime minister went on to say that the current quiet in the North "reflects Israel's power of deterrence."
