Olmert to Egypt: Improve Philadelphi corridor ops

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday called on Egypt to improve the function of its troops in the Philadelphi corridor. In an interview with the east Jerusalem-based Al-Quds newspaper Olmert said that he was interested in the presence of Egyptian forces along the route on the Gaza-Egypt border, but that he believed the forces could act more efficiently.
