One wounded, one arrested in Bil'in protest

A protester was wounded and one was arrested on Friday during the weekly demonstration against the construction of the West Bank security barrier near the village of Bili'in. IDF soldiers and police officers scuffled with the protesters who threw stones towards the security personnel. The troops responded by firing tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters who approached the fence. 600 people took part in the protest, which was also held to commemorate the 38th anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).
