Only four Kadima MKs turn up for meeting on Olmert affair

Only four out of seven Kadima MKs turned up for a meeting Friday afternoon to discuss the repercussions for the party of the illicit funding allegations against Prime Minster Ehud Olmert. MKs Yitzhak Ben-Yisrael, Michael Nudelman, Amira Dotan and Shlomo Mula attending the meeting while Shai Hermesh, Otniel Shneller Ben Michael Ben-Sasson and Yochanan Plassner stayed away. After the talks, the four MKs issued a statement which read: "The aim of the meeting was to raise ideas and think deeply about the main problems the whole county and particularly the Kadima Party face." The statement continued by saying that the group decided to meet on a weekly basis to "extensively formulate its ideas on the issue."
