Palestinian Authority Minister for Prisoner Affairs Ashraf al-Ajrami claimed Thursday that he met with Public Security Minister Avi Dichter on Tuesday to discuss the release of prisoners from Israeli jails; among them - Tanzim leader Marwan Barghouti. The minister told Palestinian news agency, Ma'an, that the meeting with Dichter was a first and that the two discussed alleviations for sick detainees. The men also discussed issues concerning prisoners in solitary confinement and family visits.
