"Israel sees the international conference in the fall as a public relations campaign for building bridges to the Arab world while bypassing the core issues of the peace process," Israel Radio quoted Yaser Abed Rabo, chairman of the PLO executive committee as saying to Al Jazeera. Abed Rabo added that the peace process was "at a standstill" because the Israeli leadership did not take the conference seriously.
