Prime Minister Ehud Olmert held urgent meetings with security advisors on Tuesday to discuss possible responses to the Kassam rockets and mortar shells Hamas fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip earlier Tuesday morning.
At least 12 rockets and eight mortars were launched. All landed in open territory, and no one was wounded.
