Prime Minister Ehud Olmert thanked the Winograd Committee for their work on Monday, moments after receiving a copy of the interim report into the Second Lebanon War.
"This is serious work that you have done, and I thank you all on behalf of the government," said the prime minister.
"I know that it has not been easy for you over the last few months. This is exhausting work."
Olmert is expected to receive harsh critism of his management of the war from the committee's report.
