A senior official in the Prime Minister's Office said Friday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert intended to dismantle illegal outposts in accordance with Israel's international obligation.
The official added that Olmert's position was that any future dismantlement needed to be accompanied by negotiations in order to prevent violence, Israel Radio reported.
Security officials are set to convene in the coming weeks to review the issue of the illegal outposts and Defense Minister Amir Peretz will outline his evacuation plans.
