The Prime Minister's Office has verified reports that negotiations surrounding the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit have progressed, Army Radio reported Saturday evening.
Nevertheless, sources said, the path to ending the ongoing saga would take time.
Other officials said that the public should be hesitant in receiving reports by Arab sources as factual, in order to avoid building up unsubstantial expectations.
