Palestinian reportedly wounded by IDF fire in West Bank refugee camp

Medics said a Palestinian was seriously wounded by IDF fire during a clash in the West Bank Fara refugee camp early Saturday. Palestinians said young men hurled rocks and firebombs at the troops, who responded with live fire. An IDF spokesman said the Palestinians shot at the soldiers, who fired back, hitting the young man. Thabet Raja, 23, was shot in the chest. A medic, Adnan Ghawanmeh, said Raja is in serious condition in a local hospital. Camp leaders said the IDF has been entering the camp over the past few days, apparently in search of a fugitive militant.
