Pedestrian seriously injured in hit and run on Route 70

A Yarka man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car on Route 70, near Yarka. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and police erected roadblocks to try and apprehend him. The injured man was taken to hospital in Nahariya for treatment.
