Pensioner rebels hold talks with Gaydamak's party

Pensioners Party MKs Moshe Sharoni, Elhanan Glazer and Sarah Marom-Shalev met on Wednesday with the director-general of billionaire Arkadi Gaydamak's Social Justice Party, Ya'cov Norodetzky, and discussed joining the nascent party. The three MKs are looking for a new political home to join after they split from the Pensioners Party on April 17 when they will legally be allowed to receive party funding for a new faction, two years after the current Knesset was sworn in. Sharoni said he and his allies would quit the coalition unless he was named a minister and three bills were passed to help senior citizens.
