Kadima MK Shimon Peres stated on Thursday that Israel's main objective for the next decade was to become a superpower in the realms of water production and utilization of solar power.
Speaking before a group of agriculture researchers in the Arava Valley he said that Israel must take advantage of the abundant solar energy, instead of relying on Iran and Saudi Arabia, Army Radio reported.
