Vice Premier Shimon Peres said Monday that Israel needed to learn from the war in Lebanon and change its military tactics.

The vice premier told the British Guardian newspaper that Israel should increase its focus on new technology.
Peres also stressed the importance of a peace deal with Lebanon.
