Defense Minister Amir Peretz said late Wednesday that there was a limit to the restraint Israel would show in the face of repeated Palestinian violations of the recent cease-fire.
"We have no intention of gambling with our citizens' security," Peretz said.
Senior defense officials said Wednesday that Israel's lack of response could be perceived by the Palestinians as weakness, Army Radio reported.
