New Labor chairman Amir Peretz spoke for first time with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak overnight Thursday. The two discussed the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
Mubarak congratulated Peretz on his election to the chairmanship of the Labor Party, and praised his desire to advance the peace process.
