Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Wednesday afternoon ordered that the Rafiah crossing be opened to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, Israel Radio reported.
The announcement came following an apparent IDF artillery misfire in Beit Hanun that killed 18 Palestinian civilians.
