Israel's Labor Party leader promised Wednesday to remove 105 unauthorized West Bank settlement outposts if he is elected prime minister in Israel's upcoming election.
The Labor leader, Amir Peretz, made the announcement at a news conference at party headquarters. The election is set for March 28. Labor is trailing in the polls, far behind the centrist Kadima Party of acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
