The police believe they have found enough evidence to warrant an investigation into Rosh Ha'ayin Mayor Moshe Sinai.
He is suspected of violating election laws during his campaign in 2003. He is also suspected of breach of trust and fraudulent registrations in the corporation's documents.
The National Fraud Unit passed the evidence to the central district prosecutor's office Tuesday.
