Haifa police arrested a 30-year-old woman on Saturday after she tried stabbing policemen who were called to her home.
When the policemen arrived at the woman's residence she met them outside armed with two knives. A policeman, who felt his life was in danger, pulled out his pistol and ordered the woman to drop her weapons, which she did.
From the woman's testimony to police, it is suspected she threatened to drown her nine-year-old daughter in the toilet.
Police were also speaking to acquaintances and neighbors of the woman.
