Police arrested Eli Dahan, the director of the Prime Minister's Office in the north, after he gave himself up on Tuesday following his disappearance with about NIS 2.85 million given to him for real estate deals. Police sought Dahan for questioning after a resident in the Haifa bay area said that he gave Dahan NIS 2.6 million a few months ago, and two Tiberias residents said they gave him NIS 250,000, for property transactions. After turning himself in he was questioned by the police money-laundering department in Tiberias.
