Police arrest supected serial killer

An 18-year-old from Petah Tikva has been arrested on suspicions that he murdered two people and attempted to murder a third. The suspect is an immigrant from the former Soviet Union. His remand was extended Thursday until May 26th. Sharon District Police Chief, Lieutenant Commander Menashe Arbiv said that the suspect had been in the habit of roaming the streets at night in search of victims who had been drinking. In addition to the murders and attempted murder, the suspect allegedly killed and ate 500 cats.
