Over one thousand police and IDF soldiers arrived at the site of the former Gaza settlement of Homesh Wednesday morning in preparation for a possible evacuation of right-wing activists from the area. The police called on the activists to evacuate the area peacefully. In addition, security forces indicated that they would provide ample time for a voluntary evacuation to occur before resorting to force.
