Haredim rioted Saturday afternoon in Jerusalem in protest of the Gay Pride parade planned for next week. Rioters attempted to block the intersection of Sanhedria and Bar Ilan streets with trash bins and wood beams. Police dispersed the rioters. The disturbance came ahead of a decision by police, expected Sunday, whether to petition the High Court of Justice to authorize police to move the event indoors or out of Jerusalem.
