Police in Kiryat Shmona on Wednesday announced that it had arrested three men, Boris Menkin, Felix Gotleib and Vladislav Betenin for the murder of Yevgeni Diakov and Anatoly Siskin. According to the police, who will be filing an indictment on Thursday, the three allegedly beat Siskin to death after he treated Betenin's wife with disrespect. Diakov, who witnessed Siskin's murder, was killed by Gotleid and Betanin later that night because they were afraid he would divulge their secret.
