A Border Police force located a large field of poppies growing along the road from Beit Guvrin to Zoharim Farm in the Judean lowlands on Wednesday.
According to the report, 101 plants were uprooted and Kiryat Gat Police have opened an investigation into the incident. Police suspect that criminal elements planted the field in order to produce narcotics.
