Police shut Haifa nightclub following fights

Police in Haifa shut down a nightclub overnight Friday following a number of fights on the premises. Seven youths suspected of taking part in drunken brawls were arrested, and later an eighth youth was taken into custody on suspicion that he stabbed a police officer, Army Radio reported.
