The Central District Police Department uncovered on Sunday a plot to kill Petah Tikva Mayor Yitzhak Ohion. The suspects were allegedly enraged at the mayor's decision to destroy buildings that they illegally constructed in the city.
Detectives made the discovery after they planted a secret agent in order to solve the case of a weapons theft from an IDF base.
