'Police used unreasonable force against students'

The Knesset Internal Affairs Committee ruled Monday that the police used unreasonable force in controlling the student protests two weeks ago. The committee put forth a demand to the Chief of Police that he hand over a precise survey of the events from the demonstrations within the next two weeks. Violent clashes have been reported between police and students during the demonstrations against the Schochat Committee's decision to raise tuition fees.
