An Israeli policeman was lightly injured Friday after being pelted with stones by several Arabs at an entrance to the Temple Mount, police said.
The noontime violence erupted after police stopped an Arab teen for a routine search ahead of Friday Muslim prayers on the Mount.
The policeman, who was hit in the face by a stone, was treated on the scene by MDA medics and then taken for treatment to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
