A policeman and a civil guard volunteer dragged a driver out of a burning car following a road accident on Ben Shemen Road on Monday.
The two managed to break off the door of the vehicle and extinguish the fire.
The driver was evacuated to Asaf Harofeh Hospital with moderate injuries together with two passengers who were injured lightly.
