Jonathan Pollard, serving a life sentence for spying on the US for Israel, petitioned Israel's High Court of Justice Monday in an attempt to prevent Gil Pensioner's Party Chairman MK Rafi Eitan from being appointed a minister in the next government. Eitan, a top candidate to receive the portfolio for pensioners, was reportedly the Mossad agent who ran Pollard's activities while spying in the US.
