Former NRP MK Hanan Porat welcomed on Thursday the decision of his party to join forces with the National Union, calling it a "true reflection of religious Zionism." In an interview to Army Radio, Porat also said that he opposed the idea of "transfer" for the Arab population as a government policy. However, he said, it was a method of "punishment" for Arabs who committed acts of terror.
