The Israel Postal Authority will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, earlier than normal due to sanctions being imposed by postal workers.
The sanctions are meant to pressure the Finance Ministry into preventing the firing of Israel Postal Authority workers. The workers fear that the company will lose employees after the mail delivery market in Israel is open to competition.
