Postal agents offered quick negotiations

The Israel Postal Company has acceded to the suggestion of the Supreme Court to negotiate quickly with 65 contractors who run postal agencies around the country. The state postal company has presented this same proposal to the Tel Aviv District Court 10 days ago, but it was rejected by the postal agents. On Thursday, the Supreme Court ordered a freeze in the present situation, in which postal agents whose contracts were cancelled and who no longer provide mail services to the public will not again run their agencies. A further hearing will be held on April 2.
